Ultrasonic System

How It Works?

The system works on the principle of low power ultrasound to restrict the algae growth in the water body. It consists of multiple ultrasonic transducers oriented at different angles that emit very low power ultrasonic waves that travel through the water as a pressure wave. The ultrasound creates a pressure zone on the upper layer of the water which interferes with the algae's buoyancy regulation, preventing them from accessing sunlight and nutrients. Eventually, the photosynthesis process gets disturbed, causing a decay in their growth and further appearance. For the existing algae, the ultrasonic wave creates a resonance of vibration with the floating algae that causes damage to the cells and eventually they die off. No aquatic organisms, animals, or humans are harmed in the process.
