Dr. Aditi Mullick is the founder & Managing Director of Prasinos Tech Innovations Pvt. Ltd. She is a budding entrepreneur who finds her knowledge and experience still afresh. With an experience of more than 10 years in the research field, she turned into an entrepreneur believing the fact that technological advancements in the lab should pave its path towards commercialization, which is indigenous in nature and should contribute to the needs of the Indian market. Dr. Mullick has completed her B.Tech from Heritage Institute of Technology, M.E from Jadavpur University and Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur. She has worked extensively on cavitation technology specialising in acoustic cavitation route for environment friendly approach for water treatment. She has played a key role right from carrying out the bench scale experiments (in Plasma & Water Research lab) to commercialization of technology along with Prof. S. Neogi and Prof. A.B. Pandit. In addition, she has extensively worked on synthesizing and developing nanomaterials with the purview of implementation on a commercial scale and various emerging topics of concern such as micropollutant degradation. Post Ph.D. she has been associated with various industrial sponsored projects on non-thermal food sterilization, yarn dyeing and industrial effluent treatment. During her research tenure she has published numerous research articles in different international journals and two books in her credit. She has been awarded with prestigious awards such as Ambuja’s Young Researcher’s Award-2015, IIChE NRC Award-IIChE 2019 and Sisir Kumar Mitra Memorial Award- 2019 for her work.
Dr. Anupam Mukherjee is the founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prasinos Tech Innovations Pvt. Ltd. He is a passionate startup entrepreneur with an experience of more than 7 years in research having interest in Process Development, Scale Up studies and Design of commercial plants. He turned into an entrepreneur with a vision to create “Wealth” from “Waste” and pave the path from idea to innovation, thereby making a sustainable ecosystem and ultimately contributing to the economic growth of the nation. Dr. Mukherjee has completed his B.Tech from Haldia Institute Of Technology and Ph.D. from BITS Pilani. He has worked extensively on cavitation technology, membranes and adsorption technology specialising in greywater treatment. In addition, he has worked on designing and developing indigenous prototypes for greywater treatment, industrial dye treatment, skid mounted mechanized sewage cleaning system, skid mounted unit for sterilization of food and extraction of biomass, point of use treatment unit for recycling handwash water and solar assisted membrane distillation unit for desalination applications. He has published numerous research papers in the domain of chemical engineering and water treatment in various esteemed international journals and has several book chapters in his credit. He has been associated with various industrial sponsored projects from Gujrat Fluorochemicals Ltd., Tata Steel, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd., Aditya Birla and government sponsored projects from Department of Science & Technology (DST), Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and SERB. He is also having an industrial experience working with ARCL Organics Ltd., Kolkata. In the recognition of his work, Dr. Mukherjee has been awarded several prestigious awards such as M.P.Chary Memorial Award, VICAL Award from Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE), Young Researcher Award from Indian Institute of Scholars.
Professor Sudarsan Neogi is a retired prof from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and is a consultant, mentor, scientific advisor and a part of the foundation team of Prasinos Tech Innovations Pvt. Ltd. He is having a perfect blend of industrial and academic experience. He earned his B.Tech and M.Tech degree from University of Calcutta in 1979 and 1981 and subsequently earned his Ph.D. degree from Ohio University, USA in 1992. He is having vast industrial experience working as Project Engineer in Davy Power gas India, as Assistant Executive Engineer in ONGC, as Assistant Director NSF, USA, as group leader and section leader (Manufacturing & Engg. Section) with Alcatel, North Caroline, USA. He is the member of West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB), High Power Committee on Environment, Governing body of Institute of Environmental Studies and Wetland Management, Govt of West Bengal. He is also the Ex-Chairman of State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, Ex- Member Rain Water Harvesting Committee by Ministry of Environment, Mobile Tower Radiation Committee by Ministry of Environment, Sponge Iron Industries: Status of Environmental Pollution Investigation Committee by Ministry of Environment, Refrigerants in Cold Storage review Committee, Govt of West Bengal. He has developed technologies for shatter proof glass window for use in Army vehicle for protection against explosive attack, Plasma Treated polymer molding for improved surface adhesion properties, Vaginal Microencapsulation effervescent contraceptive for improved delivery system, Antimicrobial Coating for implantable device, Rice mill effluent Treatment plant for water saving by recycling. He was also a consultant to AT&T Bell LaB, USA & Sterlite Optical Fiber Industries, India. He has guided more than 20 Ph.D. students with a publication track record of more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 4 patents, 5 book chapters and several conference proceedings.
Raju L Kanchibhotla is a Business Advisor & Mentor with Prasinos Tech Innovations Pvt. Ltd. He is a senior professor (with more than 25 yrs. of experience) turned entrepreneur who believes in bringing Innovative teaching methods with technology. He has completed his M.Sc in Physics in 1977 from Osmania University and Pre Ph.D. in Image Processing from OU in 1984. He is having a publication track record of 25 on Image Processing & Spatial Filtering. He served as an Ex- Director to Prisma Information Systems, Ex- Director to Deen Dayal camera & Co., Vice President Innosoft, Consultant Bio Visual Products Mfrs. Of Teaching Aids, Consultant Silicon Electronics, Consultant Richiman Silks, Technical Consultant CVD International, Tech. Director Online Media Solutions Ltd., Tech. Director Intensive Air Systems Ltd. Ex-Operations Hydus Technologies India. He is affiliated as Life Member to Optical Society of India, Association of Medical Physicists India, EWB India, Vice President of CEPCE India, Vice President & Div Chair Applications of Computer Society of India. He is the founder Director of Logic Designers, e-Pariksha, and Khar Energy Optimisers. He is also associated with CEPCE as the Vice President to implement rural development programmes at Nallamala forest Range. He is further involved in a project to convert Water Hyacinth to a good quality Soil Conditioner and adopted Kapra lake and in the process of making 200 M tones of Soil Conditioner and has completed one Agri Waste to soil Conditioner unit at Suryapet Agri Market to convert Agri Bio waste to Soil Conditioner in a sustainable way. He is currently working on a mini bio digester to convert 25 Kg of food waste to compressed biogas and liquid fertilizer for waste to wealth management in Urban gated communities.
Ratul Lahiri is a Business Advisor & Mentor with Prasinos Tech Innovations Pvt. Ltd., part of Prasino’s foundation team. He is having a working experience in Corporates post MBA for 7 years in various marketing and sales roles managing pan-India. He is a graudate in Economics (Hons) from Rabindra Bharti University and PGDM from Amity Business School. He is a passionate StartUp Entrepreneur with a vision to creating largest chemo network in India through PurpleRibbon. He is also a Co-Founder of PlatinumOne which got listed in BSE SME in Sept 21. In addition, he is associated with various Professional Association such as CII, Quality & Accreditation Institute (QAI), India, Rotary International. He has been recognized with various awards & accolades such as 50 Under 50 by BusinessMint, 2021, Alumni Entrepreneur of the Year award from Amity Business School, 2021 & Featured in Forbes India, in July 2021 Marquee edition.
Prof. Aniruddha B. Pandit (Sir J.C Bose Fellow, Govt of India) is currently Vice Chancellor of Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai and is a foundation member of the scientific advisory committee of Prasinos Tech Innovations Pvt. Ltd. He earned his B. Tech (Chem) degree from Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Banaras Hindu University in 1980 and earned his Ph.D. (Tech) degree from University Department of Chemical Technology (now ICT), in 1984. From 1984 till 1990 he worked in the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom as a Research Assistant & then as a Research Associate with Prof. J. F. Davidson, working in the area of bubble break-up and design of multiphase reactors. He developed many novel designs of gas-liquid contactors and also developed new impeller designs. He was instrumental in starting a major activity & program in the area of Hydrodynamic Cavitation for intensification of physical and chemical processing applications, post return to India in 1990. He has successfully exploited the cavitation phenomena for a variety of operations such as crystallization, emulsification, nano-particle synthesis and processes such as esterification, oxidation etc on industrial scale. He has been an active industrial consultant for many large size national and international companies. A unique creative approach of using fundamental knowledge, coupled with simple, elegant experiments has resulted into novel cavitational reactors. Prof. Pandit has authored over 418 research publications, 5 books and over 12 chapters (with over 30000 citations)and has 15 patents & is on the Editorial board of five International Scientific Journals. He has guided 51 PhD’s and 92 master’s students so far. He is actively involved in working with committees in the area of harnessing solar energy & with tribal population in extending the chemical engineering principles for drying of farm/ forest product & water disinfection for potable water. He is a president of a NGO named Land Research Institute dealing with the Energy and Town planning sector. He has successfully guided and completed many international science collaborations with Universities from France, Australia and The Netherlands. He is also on the project appraisal and evaluation committees of the DST and UGC, Govt of India. In addition, he is currently serving as a member of the Board Of Governors of the IIT Bombay. In recognition of his work, he has been awarded ISTE National award for outstanding research, 1995, Prof. R.A.
